Kaplan college in San Diego RN program

Hi, I will be starting the RN program with Kaplan as soon as we relocate. My husband's in the Military so the wait lists at other colleges turned me away from them.

Do any of you go to Kaplan? If so, how did it work out for the student loans and stuff , I am confused. It seems as if tuition is around 45000 for the couple years of the program. I am eligible for the pell grant and the military grant of 3000 per year. But would the loans be able to cover everything else since it's a vocational school more than a traditional college? Thanks!

I emailed my rep she replied this morning and said we should have word back by Thursday or Friday

Even if you make the alternate position chances are big in getting in that session. I was number 8 in the alternate position and my rep said "anyone on the alternate position always gets in" So I waited until orientation for my rep to say, "ok you're in" so don't worry if you're an alternate CONGRATS haha

I sure hope you are right. The wait is killing me:-( since we only have two shots at the KTP, I chose not to retest for a higher score as I only had a week to re-take prior to deadline.

Question- when you got in, was it also for a September cohort? Just curious:-)

For those of you who were not eligible for early acceptance, what were ur scores on the KTP? Obviously you don't need to answer:). Haha. I'm just curious what the average scores were or if ne one knows. Good luck to all of you!!!!!! Hope to find out SOON!!!!!!

98 for the KTP. I am suppose to find out Aug 3rd but I've been told so many things, who knows if that's true.

U scored a 98 in both math and reading?! Shouldn't that have given early admission? I know what u mean. I've heard everything from last Tuesday to next Tuesday! Haha. I've given up on sleeping! Fingers crossed its tomorrow so either way I can relax this weekend! Good luck to you!

I got 89 in reading and 79 in math /: I'm hoping I'm at least an alternate because I've been hearing the average is really high and people have been getting 90's...I'm so nervous!
