Hi All,
I am curious as to what a competitive applicant has for an ATI TEAS score, GPA, prereqs. I understand the minimum TEAS was 78, but it has been temporarily lowered to 65.
Obviously, the higher the scores the better, but what does an average accepted applicant's scores look like?
What is a solid TEAS score for acceptance, do I have to score in the 90s or are scores in 70s adequate?
Do most selectees earn A's on their Zoology and MICR, or are B's competitive? Essentially, I am wondering if I should fork out additional money to retake the zoology classes to raise the B's to A's or is that an unwise use of tight funds?
Any guidance is appreciated.
Yeah it is funny we are all in the same boat, not ha ha funny but funny strange coincidence. I am down to meet up on orientation day but have a Bio class right at 8am that ends at 850, so may not make it unless I skip out which wouldnt take too much coaxing. Maybe after, although it looks like it lasts forever. Hope some of us get picked up before then. I have a feeling the slots will open once UHM gets their letters out. Man competition is tough this semester....when is the next TEAS? ha ha

Ellers,
keep your chin up. You still have your great kids who dont care and you can still make it. Just take the advise that you would give your children in this situation. From what I understand they will call you expecting you to be ready to jump in. I would at least get some time consuming things out that dont expire like CPR/AED which you can use later, The Docs exam may be another that takes a while.
Rockingit, I like your attitude even though I know you have been trying more than this semester, it makes victory that much sweeter when you sweat for it right.
anyone try any of the KCC listings of CPR/AED certs?

Coug, I've been trying since 2007 and won't quit till I'm an RN. Reading post on allnurses about folks in their 50's going back to acquire their nursing degrees motivates me to keep trying until I get in.
I bet we'll be at the ADN NSO when the UHM acceptance letters come out. Your good looks could get you into UHM Coug!!

Thank you! I've been feeling a bit down but yes I need to do what I tell my kids, dust yourself off and keep going!
I have looked at their list but I know of this one place called fastcpr in town. I am not sure if they are on that list though. But you get your cards that same day and it's one on one or you can go in groups. Do you have yours?

I am so bummed right now. I thought with them lowering the TEAS our chances was higher. And based on what the advisor told me not that many scored high. Unless they did not accept much for Spring. Does anyone know if we still have to do all the health requirement by the deadline?
Roz..Did you apply for UH? I hope we all get picked from the ALT list. I want to know how much were ALT listed and hope that people choose UH instead.
