Kaiser San Diego New Grad Residency - July 2023 Application Period

Hi! Yesterday I was randomly looking up new grad programs and saw that Kaiser had applications open for Zion and SDMC! I applied, and today I checked again and it was GONE! Looks like it was only posted for 3 days, July 18-20. For external applicants at least (might be a different process for internal?). Didn't hear anything about it at all. It doesn't say a start date but from the FAQs I assume it's for the September cohort. Wondering if anybody else on here applied!

Yes - internal was open July 14 - July 20, and external was open July 18 - July 20 ? They review in order of applications received, I'm not sure how many applied! I applied to Zion, SD, and San Marcos! I'm guessing there were more positions but the volume of internal applicants maybe closed them early. It was listed as med-surg, med-surg telemetry, and onc. The email also says it's an August cohort but that's really close so I'm guessing closer to September like you said!

That's awesome, thank you for the info! Super lucky that I just came across it yesterday LOL, I knew they have a history of only posting for like 1 day for external applicants so I just went for it ?

I didn't receive a confirmation email or anything though ?

It was an email that came out last week or so! My friend got it and shared it with me!

Thank you!! It was really good!! It's a panel of five from each hospital and they are all so so kind! You'll do great - let us know how it goes!
