  1. Hey yall! Congrats on starting your new positions! I start with them in about a week and a half, how are you enjoying working there? Specifically, I'll be in San Diego, but what is the first week scheduling like? Have you had to work your full shifts on nights/weekends yet? Y'all, I'm so nervous LOL so any tips would be awesome! ?
  2. Woot! I just got the email too! This is low key exciting but kinda intimidating haha
  3. Nice, that's so exciting!! During orientation I think they said letters were going to start going out next week, so I think I'm just eager to get my official letter LOL. What unit are you going to be on?
  4. Yay, congrats!! Did they call you or did they send you the offer letter? @ALSDRN I hope you hear something form them soon!! Sending good vibes and fingers crossed for you! ?
  5. I'm not sure if there are different availabilities for the main campus, but they told me they only had full time nights open for Zion.
  6. Congrats, that's awesome! I got one too from Zion ?
  7. Okay, they were all super nice! I think it went well...crossing fingers!
  8. Woohoo, that's exciting! Mine is Friday morning for Zion. Where is yours for?
  9. Sending yall good vibes! I got a call this morning for an interview!
  10. Hello! I just applied to Loma Linda's new grad program that starts in November of this year and thought I would start one of these things for others to connect! I specifically applied for the Murrieta location, but this is open for both Murrieta and Main Campus. Good luck everyone!
  11. Do we know when they are going to start reaching out to people?
  12. So what I did is I registered through the board of California before I graduated. Since I was out of state, I did the finger card and sent it in. I sent in all required documents and then I went through my school to send my transcripts once "degree was awarded.” Those went out about a week or two after graduation and I got approved like a few days later. The longest was the fingerprint card. But if you're in the state, do the live scan as it's immediately. So long story short is that I started a few months before graduation since I had multiple transcripts to send it. Unless you're in a compact state, I'd recommend to go through california if you're sure you want to be here. If you're in a compact state, I'd personally recommend do that and get it endorsed and take advantage of that. I kinda wish I did that. I hope that kinda helps!
  13. Whaaat you got to do you medsurg in ICU? thats so cool. And Sharp is in my top 3 in no particular order because I would like to stay in San Diego if I can. But I'll honestly go to who will take me ha.
  14. So I went to school in KY but took my NCLEX in CA. The NCSBN told me that you can literally take it anywhere in the country but just register with the state board you want your license to be for. I wanted to take it where I could get it done the fastest, whether it was in Kentucky and endorse, take in KY but register for CA, or just take in California. If that makes sense...
