So I was wondering if anyone can give me insight into what the submission status: “no longer in consideration for position” means for Kaiser Staff RN applications? I recently applied to 3 “Inexperienced RN New Grad” applications (one of which I applied the same hour the job posted) and immediately after submitting my applications each one has the same submission status “no longer in consideration...” Did I do something wrong?? I even emailed [email protected] and they gave me a super vague response that basically said to read and answer the questions carefully. Can anyone help me understand this please!! ????
Great!!
So for example, in this pic below of a med/surg per diem job description, would you include key phrases like “individualized plan of care” and “monitor patient progress” into the skills portion of the resume? @Gena Porter

So what your saying to include “keywords” from the job description verbatim or paraphrased into my resume to get the system to isolate my application??
Again, if the job posting requires you to have a certain amount of experience and you answer the pre-screening question saying you have no experience, you will not be considered. You can use as many verbatim keywords, but if you don’t meet the minimum requirements, the ATS will not put your resume through.
Also, I don’t think all Kaiser regions send out a snapshot email.
The job posts are contracts upheld by the union. This is why the verbiage in them are important and why Kaiser recruiters will recall positions if the verbiage is not correct in anyway or violate union contract. The verbiage in the posts stated that they are willing to accept new grads. If they recalled the position because it was posted in error thats another story. It will automatically change the status to no longer in consideration for anyone who applied, experienced or not.
I got hired with no outpatient experience and I answered truthfully on the prescreen questions so I disagree with being automatically disqualified for not meeting requirements. I still received a Snapshot after stating I had no experience in Cardiology. In the So Cal region external candidates are sent a Snapshot by a recruiter because they filter the apps and then pass the list to the DA who makes the final hiring decision. Maybe its something newer these past few years but I don’t know a single external candidate who went through a different process than I did.

I assume you also work for Kaiser. I can only speak for the LA/South Bay/WLA regions. Our union is different than San Diego/ Nor Cal etc.

Yes. Once I started reading what they wanted I put some of the key words on my resume to stand out and I started getting Snapshots afterwards. Of course I put only the skills I performed, but I used their phrasing for it.
Thank you so much @Gena Porter for being willing to share your resume as reference! I was always under the impression that resume’s could only be one page long or it would overwhelm the reader. But seeing yours done so well makes me think otherwise ?
I can create a new thread but thought I'd try here first. Surely "no longer in consideration" job status is self-explanatory.
But how about = Job Status: inactive, no longer accepting submissions. Submission Status: Interview(s) Completed.
Sound like there is still a chance? I hate how vague Kaiser can be LOL To me this means that no one else can apply anymore and that I'm waiting to see if they liked my interview and may be requested for another, or I'm rejected at this point.

No longer accepting applications/inactive - application cycle is closed or job listing essentially is removed and or will reposted at a later time
interview completed - planning to reach out to interview you.
