Members are discussing receiving offer letters for various nursing positions at different medical centers in locations such as Anaheim, Woodland Hills, San Diego Medical Center, and West LA. Some members have received offers for Labor and Delivery (L&D) units, while others are still waiting to hear back about Medical Surgical (MedSurg) positions. There is also discussion about contacting HR for updates on offers, with some members experiencing delays in communication.
Starting a thread for those applying to KP So Cal for the August 2025 cohort.
The next info webinar will be on March 18th at 10am.
I'll be graduating in July. After talking to some of the recruiters I was told most likely I won't get picked because of the timeline. Your license has to be posted prior to the start date which is August 18th. But I will still try 🙃
I am an internal candidate, BSN applicant. Good luck to all!
Staff Nurse 1 - SCAL Nurse Residency Program
Anaheim, California - Onsite - 04/25/2025
External application starts today. Looks like it just got posted
hi! I am graduating the first week of may. probably will not take NCLEX until last week of may. what should I mark for the questions that ask if I am currently a graduate/am I holding my BSN license? can I still put yes? or should I put no since at the moment I do not have both. will this impact my chances for this cohort?

As said in an early post it is one application. In the next two weeks they will send a questionnaire for you to choose your top two hospitals. If you look at the location it says Anaheim, Downey, ect. because this one application is for all of the socal locations.

The questions are filters to select those who fits in their criteria. The first time I applied last year I put in that I don't have my license yet, but got my license and month before the deadline and I didn't even get contacted. Second time I already had my license and I got called in. The socal residents website says the cut off for your RN license is on May 30th.
But yeah apply and be honest, contact the talent acquisition person for more information and they may be able to answer whether you will qualify or not. I'm sorry that I'm not much help
