Members are discussing receiving offer letters for various nursing positions at different medical centers in locations such as Anaheim, Woodland Hills, San Diego Medical Center, and West LA. Some members have received offers for Labor and Delivery (L&D) units, while others are still waiting to hear back about Medical Surgical (MedSurg) positions. There is also discussion about contacting HR for updates on offers, with some members experiencing delays in communication.
Starting a thread for those applying to KP So Cal for the August 2025 cohort.
The next info webinar will be on March 18th at 10am.
I'll be graduating in July. After talking to some of the recruiters I was told most likely I won't get picked because of the timeline. Your license has to be posted prior to the start date which is August 18th. But I will still try 🙃
I am an internal candidate, BSN applicant. Good luck to all!

Hello rngirly22,
Congrats, you're one step closer, based on my experience the interview could be as small as 1 or 2, then as big as 5 (but could be more based from the other people in my cohort). The small interview for me was a phone screening interview first then was asked to come in to the Hospital, then a couple of days later got a follow call to clarify some information.
The big interview (24 people interviewed) we had 5 people asking questions, it was divided into 4 sections, first was basic getting to know you questions where people volunteered, 2nd part they went in order from the front of the group to the back, each person had a different clinical question, though it repeated some questions near the end. The 3rd part was a group presentation, then a short break, people were dismissed one by one then the finalist were asked to stay. That's the 4th part which was a small group clinical based discussion heavy on ACLS.
Good luck, hopefully this helps a bit.
Congrats, that is exciting! Wishing all the best. Are you internal or external, and what unit or location did you apply for? I did not realize they would start calling so quickly.
Sheesh, their interview process sounds so extensive. Crazy that there is such a nurse shortage, and expect every new grad to jump through lots of hoops just to get hired.

Rigghht! It has been harder for me to get into a new grad program at a hospital than it was to get into nursing school for me😅

Reach out to (MODERATOR EDIT OF NAME - PLEASE DO NOT POST IDENTIFYING INFO ABOUT OTHERS) by email, she's usually pretty quick at responding. I just assumed that this was old verbage. Years ago we would get nursing licenses they were hard cards in the mail, and the back of those had to be signed. But they stop sending those out probably about 10 years ago.
