Hey! It's going to be okay! I know how much you wanted it, but keep your head up! I got a rejection letter too. They have another one coming up in May I believe, so it's right around the corner. UCSF is having one coming up in June. Stay encouraged! Your time is coming ❤️?

Same here ? oh well. On to the next! Definitely going to have my EKG and ACLS ready for the next time I apply. Good luck to everyone!

Hi everyone!  I also have been lurking around on this thread and received my rejection letter for cohort 9 this morning.  I am currently an OB RN and looking for more acute care experience, hence applying to new grad hospital programs.  I knew Kaiser's program was a long shot but I had to try.

Just wanted to let y'all know that certifications will later be paid for by your hospitals and aren't necessary before getting hired.  But they do look good on the resume.  Some people just don't have that kind of money to spend on classes, especially after nursing school.

Goodluck to everyone!  The right door will open at the right time!

I also got my rejection e-mail this morning despite having taken my ACLS and EKG courses! It's been a year since I graduated, and I have still not been accepted to any residency program but I am staying hopeful. We all got this! ❤️

Same here guys... just got rejected this morning when I stepped out of my ACLS course…….

I sent them email ask to see what else I need to improve to be a better candidate... I graduated last month and got my license, working as LVN at Kaiser and being KP employee since 2015, got recommendation letter from KP nurse, GPA 3.7, and got my ACLS.... Not sure what else I can do beside EKG now....

I felt discouraged, but will continue applying to all new grads this year!! Good luck to all of us!

I am so sorry to hear that! I thought somehow KP employees would have priority over everyone else! It looks like your have a strong background so I am confident you will get in somewhere soon!! On the same boat as you so let's not lose hope!!
