Good luck!! Was this your first time applying/interviewing? And your stats

Thank you!! I applied for the last cohort but didn't get an interview. I think what made a difference was that I had my license this time around, and I applied earlier in the application window (right when it opened). As far as stats go, I have no previous healthcare experience, but I was a Kaiser volunteer for 2 years at the facility I interviewed for. I also completed 2 clinical rotations plus my preceptorship there. I took the EKG course, and the NIHSS course through Apex. I have both my RN and PHN license. Honors student. Bilingual. Looking at other peoples stats, it's hard to gauge what they were looking for this time around.

I know for sure they will pick people that volunteer and have completed clinical hours at Kaiser. Having RN license isn't a factor since I know a few that got interviews this cohort without their license when they submitted application.

Hi everyone,
This is my first time applying for the Kaiser NewGrad program, and I'm really excited to be part of this process with all of you. I received my RN license about two months ago, and I'm currently pursuing my master's as part of the ELMSN program. I finished my pre-licensure with honors, which was a big achievement for me!

For my application, I uploaded four letters of recommendation from my clinical instructors, who all hold their DNP in nursing. Two of them are Staff Nurses with Kaiser. I also have five years of experience working in the emergency department with Kaiser, which has been an amazing journey. Prior to that, I was an EMT for a year, which gave me valuable experience in emergency medical care.

Unfortunately, I didn't get placed at Kaiser for any of my clinical rotations, but I did complete over 450 hours of clinical rotations during my pre-licensure. I have also completed my ACLS and BLS certifications with the American Heart Association.

After my interview, I made sure to email my interviewer to thank them for their time and to express my appreciation for the opportunity.

Those are my stats, and I just wanted to wish everyone the best of luck during this process. I hope all our dreams come true in July, and that we all receive the good news we're hoping for. Let's stay positive and supportive of each other!

Best of luck to everyone!

I completed one clinical rotation at Kaiser but never volunteered there. Should I volunteer so I will get picked for cohort 11? I do have my license. I messed up in my interview with cohort 9 by saying I want to be a peds nurse😡

Your stats are impressive! I'm positive you'll get in. Where did you find your interviewers email?

Thank you for your words of encouragement. We all come from different backgrounds, I'm sure we are all more than qualified. Our interviewer posted his email in the chat before ending our session. He asked us to email him for any feedback and etc.

Hello- for all that interviewed did your interviewer mention a specific date for when offer email will come out? or did they only tell you early July?

Do we know what the difference is between soft offers and official offers?

Soft offers - meaning you're offered position but still need to get through on boarding clearance - drug testing, background check etc. If all is clear then you'll receive final official offer.

The timeline said July 15th for soft offers, our interviewer said to refer to that 😊

Specializes in LVN.

still got 2+ weeks to wait😔😔
