Kaiser New Grad Fall 2024 Cohort 10

Hi everyone!

Just wanted to start a thread so we can all chat/update each other for the Kaiser New Grad- Fall Cohort 10 application which opens 04/26! 

Anyone know how it works/when we'll know whether we are placed in telemetry vs medsurg?

Hi! My friend just started with cohort 9 yesterday. They got their unit after onboarding (background check, drug test, physical). It really depends on how many people get chosen for your location and how many nurse preceptors there are for each unit. For her, it was even, they  have 3 on just medsurg and  3 on medsurg/tele. Hope this helps 😊

My friend got her placement one week before the start date

East bay hub. From what I know, and heard from others I know in cohort 7 and 8, all the sites are pretty similar in structure 🙂
