Kaiser Los Angeles New Grad Training Telemetry

U.S.A. California

Is anyone attending the group interview on July 3 at Kaiser Los Angeles Medical Center? The interview is for the Telemetry unit, and I was invited yesterday. The recruiter told me it will be a group interview, and if selected, followed by a one-on-one interview. They are picking 20 new grad RN candidates for the position. The invite says the interview is 5 HOURS long! how is this possible? In past year's threads Kaiser did a group interview and one-on-one back to back on the same day and if your name wasn't selected to go on after the group, you were asked to leave. Does anyone else know about how the process works? I hope it is not as brutal as it sounds...

Congratulations! I did. I emailed the recruiter after I got the email and he said all of that. In the last group, I heard they interviewed about 30 people but that's hear say.

Hi there! I will be there too! Good luck to all of us, hoping they take us all:) Noboundary, thank you for sharing this information!

See you all there! So happy about this!

i'll be there too!!! super stoked!

i wonder how many of us they'll take

I wish some of the people who went through this program before can give us some advice

Curious if you RNs with interviews are BSN? Thanks!

I graduated in June with my entry level MSN. Its for people who hold previous Bachelor degrees with no prior RN experience

I will also be there, really excited! Does anyone know when the program will actually start?

Official "start" day 2/17/2014, but orientation starting 1/20/2014

I just got off the phone with the HR recruiter re: change of interview day ):

How are you guys preparing for the interview? So excited but SO nervous already...

Thanks for the info. I just got a missed call from him explaining that as well. Do any of you work at Kaiser?

Thanks again for showing that info. I tried preparing by googling basic nursing interview questions. I was getting a little nervous that Thursday was coming up, but a little sigh of relief that we have more time to prepare.

@needinfonow I do not work at Kaiser.

I hate the waiting process.
