Is anyone attending the group interview on July 3 at Kaiser Los Angeles Medical Center? The interview is for the Telemetry unit, and I was invited yesterday. The recruiter told me it will be a group interview, and if selected, followed by a one-on-one interview. They are picking 20 new grad RN candidates for the position. The invite says the interview is 5 HOURS long! how is this possible? In past year's threads Kaiser did a group interview and one-on-one back to back on the same day and if your name wasn't selected to go on after the group, you were asked to leave. Does anyone else know about how the process works? I hope it is not as brutal as it sounds...
I know! Trying to be patient but it's hard... especially when graduation and NCLEX now seem SO far away! (I am very grateful to be where I am... not forgetting the stress of this past spring and summer by any means!) But the job search... whoa... no wonder programs like this get hundreds of applicants!!
Yes finally. I got the email as well. I found out its going to be a group interview. Panel style with 6 people all ranging from educators to directors. Also, this is a one time interview after this they will be making their decision.
I hope to see everyone there. Keep checking your email everyone! Don't give up hope.

Me, too. This is my first choice for new grad positions, even over Versant b/c I really like Kaiser. We'll see! Let's post here and keep each other updated! I haven't heard anything yet after sending in the required docs by the deadline.
Good luck!
