Kaiser CRNA

Hi, just wondering anyone heard from Kaiser for interview for 2008? thx.

Specializes in Nurse Anesthesia.
I spoke to a contact who graduated in 2006 from the Kaiser Program and he said the interview consisted of a panel of about 12 people. The main focus was on what kind of person you are. He said, they spent a lot of time talking about basketball, because that was a hobbie of his and he followed it closely. The panel wants to know what kind of person you are, and how you'll handle different situations.... i.e maybe they'll throw out a ethical question about if an MD wants you to do something, but you don't feel comfortable, what would you do....and how would you handle the situation.

My friend's advice was be friendly, upbeat, and most of all, be honest. He didn't have any clinical questions at his interview, but honestly I would be prepared for anything.

Good luck! I hope this helps.

Has anyone else heard anything for interviews? I know the information letter said they would inform the interviewees in late January....and for the rest, it's March...anyone?

Congrats on everyone who got an interview! I am a "junior" student in the KPSAN program. My interview last year was very basic (them trying to get to know who I am) without any clinical questions. That doesnt mean they won't pry if they find an aspect of your specialty interesting. But prepare well.

Be genuine and passionate about this great opportunity. I can tell you now from personal experience that the program is great and the faculty is amazing. Good luck.

can anyone help me with the keiser process. I sent my resume and my transcripts, they sent me a message and said that I could apply by november 1st I did so what's next. Thanks

IBM5,

Have you applied yet? Sent your application in first. Then you will hear from the school if you get an letter around Christmas if you are invited to interview. Interview usually happens in Feburary.

Good luck!

Specializes in ICU/trauma/med-surg.

Snow bunny,

I would also love to hear about your interview. I won't be applying until Nov '12, but am trying to prepare myself the best I can. Also, somebody suggested I take a refresher physics class AND the GRE, even tho Kaiser Full doesn't require it. Do you agree?

Thank you!
