Thanks :thankya: to y'all who have written about your experiences with the Excelsior LPN-RN program:yeah: At 50 years old, I've decided to go for it :chair: for better or worse. I will, most likely, take some of the pre-reqs with them - yes, I know it's expensive but it's the best option for me... Anyway, just had to let everyone know - and Suesquatch and TXspadequeen, you've been an inspiration!

And an investment in your future and your education is never "expensive." Well, okay, it can cost some bucks, but I can't imagine life without learning.

Welcome Mc3. Good Luck! You will do this because I can tell you have that determination and you will persevere until you are there. I am 42 myself. Lets get this thing done, and make it our own. Traci

Welcome mc3!! Of course you can do this. Just think of all that you have learned and accomplished in 50 years. I am 51 closing in on 52 real fast and can not imagine not learning every day. That being said, I did not have the required discipline to have done a distance learning program until recently, like late 40's. Look at all of us who post our ages and get some inspiration!!!
