I just finished the nclex with 75 questions and I feel like I knew nothing. I don't see how it is possible that I passed. The questions didn't seem like higher level questions at all. I got about 13 sata. I'm freaking out.

They say feeling like you are unsure on the questions is a good thing bc nclex tries to give you questions that they believe you have a 50/50 chance of getting right. If you felt like you knew all the answers for sure then it wouldn't have been hard enough. If you go to the NCSBN website they have short videos that explain it. Waiting is the worst!
Thank you for responding. I know everyone walks out feeling like they failed but I just feel like "no one could feel like they knew less than me in there" I really studied and prepped too. I did ALL of Kaplan, Hurst, and some of Uworld. But I just felt like I was taking the test in French or something. I tried the PVT and got the good pop up but that hasn't really eased my fears at all.

I felt exactly the same way!! I wasn't sure about a single answers. And I passed! I'm sure you did too. Don't worry:)
You won't feel better until you see that result saying you passed. And you're right, I think just about everyone feels like they failed when they leave. That was the 2 most miserable days of my nursing student career lol
im sure you passed.
Honesly I haven't heard of anyone doing the pvt thing and getting "the good pop up" and failing. Now, I have heard of people doing it, paying $200, and passing.

OMG! I had the exact same experience as you!!
When I say the exact I mean EXAAACCT!! I'm too scared and anxious to do the PVT because of the dreadful outcome. Every time I mustr up the courage to do so, I end up chickening out when it comes to adding your credit card. I took my exam at 8:00 AM 7/20. Here it is 7/21 2:22 AM and i'm still on the edge! I hope to GOD we passed!

Good luck! I really hope we pass as well. This is an awful waiting process. I'm so anxious and as I try to sleep all I can think of are all the questions that seemed like such low level questions and then I feel there is no way I could have passed. Just praying now!

It is very common that everyone feels like they failed. NCLEX test is completely different than any other test you have taken. Every other test, you are expected to answer every question correctly. NCLEX is a Computer Adaptive Test. It is intentionally giving you more difficult questions in order for you to get a question wrong to determine the level of difficulty that you can answer correctly. It is possible to answer 50% of the questions wrong (less if you count the beta questions) and pass at 75 questions.
In nursing school, if you got 38/75 on a test you failed. If you answered 38 questions correctly and the test ended at 75 questions on NCLEX you did extremely well.
I think what has me most concerned is that the questions I was getting didn't seem like higher level questions. They seemed like basic knowledge recall and that had me so worried. Some people say it's because Kaplan and uworld are so hard that these seem like lower level questions but I'm not sure.
read this other thread of mine. Hopefully, it will help.

I was thinking about that however it is also difficult to ascertain what questions are hard vs the ones that are easy coz a question may be hard for you but easy for another person...that's why waiting for the result is so dreadful...why o why does ca not participate in quick results??! Anyway, here's to good luck to all of us!
Thanks everyone. 24 hours later and still the good pop up so continuing to pray and anxiously waiting official results.
