Nurses LPN/LVN

thank you so much for having this forum! I just took the nclex-pn test yesterday and have been reading everyones posts about their feeling of the test. Well my computer shut off at 85 questions and I am freaking out! All of the people in my school passed at 85 but I just have this overwhelming feeling that I failed. I even looked up some of the questions that I had and most of them were wrong! I know some of the questions I had were right but Im so nervous! Please give me some words of encouragement....all of you seem so sweet and so positive!

hi,hopefully you past the test. I'm taking my test next week. Just want to know what subject did you got more in the test questions.

Best wishes to you as you wait for your results. Just know that most people probably get alot of questions wrong, I know I did. I took that PN exam 10/11 and passed with 105 questions. I can count on 2 hands and have fingers left over of the questions that I know I got right. So try not to worry, I know it's hard though.

hello....thank you so much for the encouraging words kjcboys and glory2God!!! I found out today that I passed my test and I am sooooo happy! That was the most difficult 48hrs I ve had to go through. On my test I had no math question(thank goodness), 3 meds(Versed, Questran, and tricyclics), a few med/surg and no fill in the blanks or choose all that apply. Lots of prioritizing(which pt. would you see first). The only advise that I can give you kjc is that you will most likely leave the test thinking that you failed so dont fret, AND the questions that they ask are completely out of this world....nothing like all the cds/book questions that you have been answering...just stay positive and good luck! Thanks alot!

blessedbyGod i meant...sorry

I was EXACTLY like you yesteray. All my fellow classmates who took stopped at 85, and all had passed. And I looked up a few questions I was unsure about, and I got them wrong! And I didn't have any math, about 3 meds, and TONS of prioritizing patient care. What a stressful time. And I honestly have no idea where I want to work. Not too many opportunities here where I live. :uhoh21:

Congratulations, I wish you the best in your nursing career.

haa! wow thats really weird.....i was so nervous but im so happy that it worked out! Good luck to you in getting a job, im in the same boat as you. I dont want to work in long term care but that seems to be the only thing around....good luck!
