Anyone have any reviews on the amount of alternate item format they got on their NCLEX? I am still a ball of nerves even though the test stopped at 75 questions, i know its still possible to fail at this point. I had 28 SATA, 41 multiple choice, 3 drag and drop, 2 dose calc, and 1 exhibit. Im pretty sure that OB was my lowest scoring area bc I kept getting a ton of OB questions..
But as far as passing goes, what where others compilations of question formats that they saw?
Any advice would help!
I know, I checked my board of nursing website in FL and my license number was posted in less than 24 hours! They must of not been too busy or something but hey! I didn't have to pay for quick results! Lol congrats to u as well
Definitely lucky :)
The State BoN gets the results from Pearson Vue the moment they are done with the QA review (second scoring). So sometimes a BoN WILL get results in like 20 hours, and then post immediately; truly wonderful for the guy who's flipping out waiting.
rb18....yes.....so it does look good for you! However, don't make any decisions on anything until you receive official notice (license number on website, or mailed notice, OR the Quick Results available for $8 if your State participates).Goodluck.
No doubt you do have a TON of patience explaining the PVT particulars!! Thank you for your consistent dedication to preventing new grads from wasting 200$.

Mostly, I think I do it because they are trying to ease their anxiety any way they can (for good reason) but what they usually ACTUALLY do raises it up a notch! I just hate seeing people torn up for days, crying, etc because they believe they failed the exam based on a TRICK...and it turns out they passed. And then the other way is maybe even worse: telling everyone and their neighbors that there is a new nurse in their family/circle of friends, even accepting JOBS, and then having to call all those people back and say "oops. I failed, I believed a silly internet guess instead of waiting for official results...so I'm not a nurse."
Anyway, now that you know what you know, you can help :)

Yes I definitely will. I'll have to quote you though because it's a lot to explain!
