  1. Bring copies of your resume, make a nursing portfolio, dress professional, smile and be yourself!
  2. I went to their job fair and spoke with an ANM. Got called a few days later for a math exam and an interview. Interview wasn't bad at all. It was all personality type questions and it was a panel of 7 managers/directors/educators from the different units. A week later, I got hired. Best of luck!
  3. Yes, I got hired at a Dignity Health hospital in So-Cal in their new grad program.
  4. If you get asked a med question you know nothing about, choose the killer answer. 😁🌚
  5. Oh! Okay! I thought you were talking about NCLEX-RN. Whoops
  6. That's not true. I'm from California. I did not pay to get my results or for them to post my name on Breeze. I did pay Pearson to take the test and the BRN to apply to sit for NCLEX.
  7. These are the lab values that I used. Hope it helps. Best of luck! 8. I used the 2 week free trial and I did 11 75q comprehensive exam leading to my test date. My overall mastery level was 7.1 (lowest mastery level was 4.7 and highest was 8) and I thought the questions were similar to NCLEX-RN. I did encounter 1-5 questions I've answered from previous exams but overall, I recommend it. Best of luck!
  9. Hurst was very beneficial with my studying. Best of luck!
  10. I used Hurst for content. For questions, I used NCSBN, Kaplan, Lipincott NCLEX 10000 2 week free trial, Saunders CD-ROM for SATA. I would do a topic on Hurst then after reviewing, I'd go over questions on that topic. Best of luck and don't give up! Study ONLY Hurst for a good 2 weeks then combine Hurst with questions and build up your content knowledge with Hurst since Hurst does not cover everything. So what I would do is say, I did Cardiac on my Hurst book. Then do Cardiac questions. If I get questions that was not mentioned in Hurst, I would add the additional info into the Cardiac page on the margins. Hope that helps! Best of luck!
  11. Go to NCSBN site to read the current test plan. The test plan is basically your study guide. It will help you out and you can determine which section(s) are your weak/strong areas. Best of luck!
  12. Never let "failure" deter you from achieving your goals! I sent you a message.
  13. I used a credit card and changed my expiration date and security code 28 hours post NCLEX. Got the good pop up. Saw my name on Breeze the next day. Best of luck!
  14. rb18 replied to lrdcn3's topic in NCLEX Exam, Programs
Hurst 5th day (resource documents) has tons of pharmacology! Best of luck!
