  1. all you have to do is search the topic and you will find tons of threads with the same question. I had 265 questions the first time and failed, had it again the last time and passed, it can go either way.
  2. I will definitely read over it with my insurance guy (since he is my fishing partner) and have him break it down for me cause honestly, its really hard for me to understand it. I was actually just going to go with it until I just read your post. thank you.
  3. As soon as I found out I passed the nclex, I contacted my insurance provider.....(not sure if I can say who but if I say there little jingle, my agent should appear), and got coverage on my license for 1 million dollars that is covered on my renters insurance....I'm not good with the whole legal insurance term but he told me that it was added under an umbrella of my renters. I pay an extra 130 a year that covers both my wife and my license. long story short, just call your insurance company and tell them you want to have your license covered. hope this helps
  4. I passed with all 265 questions. Keep yourself busy until you get the results.
  5. FYI it takes 3 months almost to the day to get your ATT if you are re-applying, so im sure it takes longer for your initial ATT. Once your check to the BRN is cashed, it usually takes 6 weeks to get your ATT.
  6. best of luck, let us know how it went
  7. I know California doesn't have quick results avail., are there other states too? just curious?
  8. First off, congrats, I too got to 265 and passed, I know what you went through the day after. You may have not been an amazing student but strive to be an amazing nurse, people will always remember how you make them feel when you are around and school can NEVER teach that. once again, congrats
  9. I got done with my test at 5:15ish and just kept myself busy for the rest of the day. the next day I wanted to try the pvt, then counted down the hours till it was 24 hours after my test ended. I figured I would just wait till the next morning ( as you can see, I kept pushing the time further and further along) till I would check, but my results posted that morning, 37 hours after I finished, and in California too, where you cant even get someone from the board on the phone in less then 72 hours.
  10. I liked Kaplan for questions, and picnomic.com for content
  11. keep your head up, I just took my nclex for the fourth time on may 26th. the first time I took it I got to 265 questions, the second time after taking Kaplan I got 180 questions. When I found out I failed I took the hurst live review and re-took Kaplan live review and failed at 78 questions. I was getting more and more depressed thinking I was doing worse and worse, this time I did picnomics and prayed a lot, I ended up doing 265 questions again, I think I was the most nervous when I got to question 75 afraid it was going to shut off. needless to say, I found out I passed yesterday, so keep trying, know what you need to work on, and figure out how you need to learn it, for me I needed to see pictures (picnomics) made it so much easier for me to remember content. best of luck. if you need help just send me a message and ill be happy to help out where I can.
  12. don't give up, from someone who has failed the nclex multiple times too, you got to keep pushing, once you get the results, focus on your weak points. I wish I could give you more advice other than that.
  13. thank you, I will definitely go over that content.
  14. sorry about the auto correct changing what I wrote der fuhrer
  15. I am taking the nclex-rn for the forth time in 1 week. I have been using hurst, pda, saunders, and picnomics this time around. the first time I took the exam I did all 265 questions in a private rom, the second time I did 150ish questions in a private room and the third time (it felt like I almost didn't even care) I did 79 questions in a private room. This time I am not telling anyone when my test is and I did not request a private room. My weak area is pharm, the last test had a lot of content pharm on it (that's how I knew right away I failed). Does anyone know a good way to go over pharm with the resources that I am using? tanks.
