I have posted off and on for the past few years. usally when I wasn't feeling good or was upset. However- I have made a major life style change and have lost almost 30 lbs since Jan. 2010. My bp was 150/100 on New Years day. I joined weight watchers and have been going to the Y 3-4 times per week. Just bought new clothes and got rid of the old ones. I hope to loose about 60 -80 lbs. My bp is under control and I am managing my stress much better. Really looked at what I was eating and boy was it BAD. I have been bringing food to work and spread it out over my 12 hr shifts. No more gorging when I get home. I have turned down home made goodies, candy adn pizza at work. One pt's family noted my weight loss prior to my own family and brought in a fruit plate when they brought baked goods. I never thought I could do this, I didn't think I could loose 5 lbs, much less almost 30. Thanks to weight watchers and support from my husband and a good friend- I have made a major change.:redbeathe
