The math portion didn't seem too hard for me. The math was pretty much just like the questions on the testpreview.com website. The only problem is that I ran out of time and wasn't able to answer a couple of the questions I had skipped. So my advice is if you don't know the answer guess and then write down the number on your scratch paper and go back. The reading portion was a little bit harder for me as I felt like 2 of the 4 answers could have possibly been correct. I studied for about 3 weeks off and on before I took the test. Good luck!
jjingles: At my comm college in Lake Havasu AZ (Mohave Community College) Once you have taken the first semester of the Nursing program you can be a CNA. There are no additional classes that you need to take. Keep in mind I dont know how your college does it...but maybe you could ask because the way I look at it is if I can do it after the first semester why take it seperately. The phlebotomy experience will be helpful as well so that is what my sights are on right now. Good Luck!
I applied 1st to Kingman, 2nd to Lake Havasu. If you want to study for the new HESI test and plan Fall approach let me know [email protected]. Thanks.

I just passed the NET last week. I am considering CNA or phlebotomist while I am waiting to get into to nursing school. Will I get enough experience being a phlebotomist or should I just do CNA? I still have to take one prereq. before I can apply.
