CONGRATULATIONS!!!! RN!!
The only way you will know is if you ask. Hey, why not call a couple of human resource departments today and find out what they say. That is what I would do next. The recruitment people will be very helpful in guiding you in what to do after that!!!
What an exciting time for you!!!

Congrats!!!!!!!!!The hospital I work at hires you into med surg then rotates you to ICU after 6-9 mos. That way you get good skills if you don't have any experience. I believe any additional classes are done thur the education dept of the hosp.

congrats on passing your test. usually, they say it is good to have atleast 1 year experience doing med surg. im not quite sure about that because my older brother is about to graduate from an lvn program and he already has a job offer to work in the ed of a local hospital. then again, he also spent 7 years as a coreman in the navy. also, having your acls makes you more marketable, specially if your gonna work in critical care. one way to know for sure is to try it out tho.
