Any potential new friends/study buddies out there?

Any potential new friends/study buddies out there?

Yeah!!! I just got place too, for the accelerated program. My time stamp was June 19th 8:04 AM if that helps anyone.

What is a typical week schedule like?

I also just found out that it is only $71 a credit, which is amazing how cheap it is. What kind of extra cost are associated with the program?

Not to be inflamatory: but there is a nursing program section you could have posted this in.

Specializes in RETIRED Cath Lab/Cardiology/Radiology.

I moved it. :)

Carry on and good luck to all! :)

Still no word on the schedule yet, am going to try and drop by tommorrow to find some info out. If not I think it states the schedule in the paperwork we get mailed to us....

Are you accepted by GWCC's accellerated program too?

Yes I am in the accelarated program. I really would like to be in a study group. So I don't know how to get in touch with you without posting my email or phone number here.

Congrats on getting in, it has been a long wait.

Congratulations! GWCC has just resurrected the Student Nurse Association and our membership drive is going strong. Come check us out. One of our goals is to set up a mentoring program to help new students and advanced block students if they need support! It's all about nursing students helping nursing students.

Unofficially we are:

"The Student Nurse Association of Gateway Community College has been established to responsibly provide, promote and encourage continuing education and fellowship to all members, regardless of race, creed, color, sex, national origin, age or economic status, and to support its members in their pursuit of active recruitment, formation of collaborative relationships with other nursing and health related organizations, and sponsorship of healthy and informative activities focused on the betterment of GWCC's student body and the surrounding communities."

firecracker julie, what was your date/time stamp if you dont mind.

I'm Gateway Accelerated for Spring 2010 also. Can't wait to know class schedule. It's a small group though; only 30 students! Is that good or bad??

Date stamp was April 2008.

the tentative schedule is monday and tuesday class/labs from 8am to 4pm, later in the semester some classes will go 8:30am to 5pm. clinicals are on wednesday and thursday. clinicals can be 8, 10 or 12 hours long.

Clinicals on both Wed & Thurs???? Both days?? Are you sure???

I'm starting to worry how I'm going to work...

I am sorry but I don't have access to my date and time stamp but I know it was June 18th some time in the AM. But the nursing status application website doesn't show it anymore since I accepted. Sorry.
