You say it's your dream job. If that's so, then I am very happy for you. Only you can determine what's right for you.
I wish you the very best of luck and success!

Congratulations! It isn't often people find dream jobs.
Maybe you could pick up extra shifts to make up the difference until the job turns fulltime?

I really can't overestimate the positive effect of being fortunate enough to find a job that rings all the bells, as they say. Not to dismiss your husband's concerns, but I agree that sometimes you need to wait a little while laying a good foundation doing what you want to be doing, other good things usually follow.
Congrats!

I'd be pretty pissed if my husband was shooting me down when I am that thrilled about something. Why can't he just be happy for you?
Good luck and I hope it's everything you want it to be. My current job has limited pediatric involvement and I can tell you I have NO future in pediatrics. I have made respect for people who can work medically with kids because I just hate having to do clinical stuff to them.
