From what I've ascertained from more experienced posters, 85 questions on the NCLEX-PN is the minimum amount of questions that you can get and that you can't predict by number whether you passed or failed based on numbers.
I just wanted to say congratulations on finishing the exam:smiley_aa
Here's hoping you passed :bowingpur (I bet you did)!!!!!!
Let's us know, O.K?

DON'T WORRY!!!! IT CUT OFF ON ME AROUND 85 TOO. THAT THE MIN. THEY ASK YOU UP TO 325? IF YOU ARE DOING VERY WELL IT WILL CUT OFF. I WAS TOLD WORRY IF THEY ASK YOU ALOT OF THE SAME TYPE OF QUESTIONS. BUT, IF YOUR QUESTIONS GOT A LITTLE HARDER EACH TIME YOUR MORE THAN LIKELY ARE OK. REMEBER, YOU HAVE A YEAR OF TRAINING 4 THAT TEST! DONT STRESS OUT NOW SAVE IT FOR THE FLOOR LOL:lol2: :balloons:
I feel so nervous! The questions did get harder and harder and i kept getting different questions, except one question which got repeated twice, thats got me worried... dah!
One thing i know though is i did know quite a few questions with 100% accuracy so i dont think i bombed it though. Whats got me worried is i didnt get any "check all that apply" or "click on the picture where you would.." or "med calculations" type questions, is this a bad sign?
:/

My exam shut off at 85 and I passed, but my friend also got shut off at 85 and she failed. Every test is different, so I can't say for certain that you passed. Just stay positive and if you feel that did good, then believe in yourself, stay confident and I'm sure once you find out your results you'll be happy! :yelclap:

I recently took my boards and it stopped at 85. I was forsure I failed. I recieved a few questions twice (or very similar questions). After researching on the state boards webpage, I have found that if you recieve some alike questions, this is most likely just coinsidence. I passed. Stay positive. Congratulations on taking the test!!

When I took the boards the computer stopped my questions at 75 and it read that I had to leave the room for a 10 minute break....OMG! I freaked out! Before reading that it was for a break I thought, Dang! I did that bad!?!? shoot, I didn't even reach the minimum! I was also kinda ticked off because I wanted to get it over with. I was still anxious and nervous during and after the break. Needless to say my exam cut off at 85 as well and I passed too!!
I was like, thank you Lord!!! :bowingpur

I cut off at 85 also. When I came out of the testing center I felt horrible and thought I had failed. But after speaking to several people who had taken it I found out they cut off at that number also. So don't beat yourself up just yet cause that amount seems like the norm. Congratulations on taking your exam and I wish you well!!!!:balloons:
