Just got accepted! What are my next steps? (Sheridan College)

Did anyone else get an acceptance to the May 2016 RPN program today? I see on their webpage that I need to complete a:

  • Criminal Record Check
  • Record of Immunization
  • CPR Level D & Standard First Aid Certificate

Should I start on those requirements right now?

From one post that I read on the Sheridan Reviews page, placements are not the most convenient :p They said that the lived in Oakville and were placed near Toronto/Vaughn with no options to switch

Hey Jrigby,

Was it a letter that you got telling you to do the assessment or an email?

I didn't get any notification about the assessment, I wouldn't have known about it if I hadn't decided to log on and look at the event registration page on MyStudentCentre. :p !!!

I suggest searching for student groups on Facebook. I did that and decided to apply to another school for January just because of placements.

Yeah I messaged some students at Sheridan and all their placements are at long term care. I think it's only for 1st or 2nd semester. But for 3rd and 4th semester I assume it'll change...

I am not because I have to work. I will be picking up my oneCard tomorrow though and will attempt to give myself a tour of the campus.

Lol my first one wasn't "centered enough" because my left shoulder and arm were not the same size as my right. I just resubmitted the same picture and cropped the right side slightly.

just a note about placements, they have been good. First semester you will be in long term care right across from the school. Second semester you will be in long term care somewhere within 20-30 minutes from school. Third semester you will be in the hospital either in Mississuaga or Brampton, one group was in scarborough. And Fourth semester will be in hospital, we have oakville for people in that area, mississuaga for people from there, brampton for most people and one placement in Toronto

What does firm admit mean? I recieve an acceptance for sheridan for rpn may 2017. Help!

Hinguys could you tell me hw are the placements with sheridan is it long term care facilities or you get to work in hospitals as well
