Just got accepted! What are my next steps? (Sheridan College)

Did anyone else get an acceptance to the May 2016 RPN program today? I see on their webpage that I need to complete a:

  • Criminal Record Check
  • Record of Immunization
  • CPR Level D & Standard First Aid Certificate

Should I start on those requirements right now?

Yes, my situation was sorted out. Did you contact OCAS also? They maybe be able to help you but its probably Sheridan tbh lol... Sometimes apparently the system has problems with downloading info from time to time. Hopefully it works out.

Hey, I messaged ********** with the same concern (grades showed up on ontariocolleges but wasn't showing up on Sheridan). She checked my ontariocolleges account to confirm then manually updated it afterwards :)

Hey jrigby! I hope you don't mind but I have a couple of questions about the program?

Once I receive the timetable, how do I find out all the options I have for moving courses around? (Same course offered at different times?)

How did you find the English assessment? Was it difficult?

Also, do you suggest buying the books after starting or before starting the courses? Will the information about books be provided by the prof or do we have to search up the course outlines ourselves?

Yes, it did. You have a busy schedule lol we are in the same english class (time block) :). I only have multiple classes on Tuesday... every other days its one class

I have no days off but finished classes at a decent time. Yes i did my English Assessment on the 12th. So by the 22nd the result should be out.

I think its after the 22nd of April that you'd be able to change or adjust it. I bought my books of amazing already cost me $400+ not including the pharmacology book. There is a booklist and info and the program start up on myOTR.... The assessment wasn't too bad just easy writing and the topic i choose i had a lot to say lol... So hopefully i did good enough to get into the right english class.

Mystudent centre, then academic drop down, then you should see add/drop course stuff like that is where i think you should be able to do that after the date of course.

Do you guys know where Sheridan's placements are? Also let me know what you guys think of Sheridan's RPN program. I applied there for Sept and Jan program. Can't decide between Humber or Sheridan.

I wasn't able to find the booklist on myOTR :p if you don't mind could you send it to me?

When I went to Ryerson, the myStudentCentre looked exactly the same and it allowed me to see what other times the courses were offered so that I could figure out how to rearrange my schedule before the course change date :(
