  1. Semester one: Clinical x 2 days a week, doesn't start right away, more like at the end of the month or beginning of next month. Expect to have class each day for the rest of the week, some running into late into the evenings. Semester One: January - April Semester Two: May - August
  2. This is too bad. Applicants will be applying to other schools thus making admission much more competitive at surrounding Colleges in the region. I hope they resolve the issues :)
  3. I don't think it will give me a huge leg up, however some job postings do says it's an asset so, I hope it benefits me when I do apply for jobs.
  4. Hello, I am very interested in applying to Centennial when I finish my program. Just curious about the school in general, with professors and the facility. Is it very independent or professors are there to teach everything during the classes? Do students have the options in different parts of the GTA for clinical placements? Lets say, Etobicoke? Does the school partner with very good facilities in the region? Lastly, how is the job prospects? I know the situation isn't good but, I wonder how difficult it is to find full-time work? I'm learning French so I hope it gives me points when I finally move out there :/ Thanks the Magnificent for helping us :)
  5. Try, and let us know if you get accepted or not.
  6. Try Ottawa U - Algonquin bridging program.

I recommend getting a tutor and see them at least weekly with questions prepared. Since you never took any sciences, you need to spend much of your time studying and organizing your time wisely. Please don't go into Nursing just for the money, if you end up not liking it, you will have a miserable time as the program is tough and requires a lot of time and patience. I believe that pre-health will prepare you for the Nursing program better than high school courses. Since you need only English in order to get accepted into Loyalist, I wouldn't worry too much about "failing". You will have classmates in the same situation as you.
  8. I started this week actually. The program is very very tough and I'm enjoying every minute of it so far.
  9. Checkout my previous replies here in this link: https://allnurses.com/canada-nursing-programs/algonquin-college-rpn-1050001.html#post9037287
  10. Try Lambton College/University of Windsor.
  11. I got in with a very bad math grade, everything thing else was over 80%.
  12. Thank you for the advice, I'm almost done my immunizations. I'm glad that the college left the forms on their website, as I haven't received any information from them yet. I've a few questions if you don't mind. Is it possible to fast-track through the program instead of taking a break in the fall? When does placement start during the first semester? Do we get to choose where? Do you have any advice for the first semester? I have no idea what to expect, besides being told that Nursing school is difficult in general. I plan to spend much of my time studying in order to maintain high grades.
  13. I plan to wear mine like that ^ OP, it's completely up to you at the end of the day.
