Why do some people view other peoples messages, but they never respond to them. Just wondering is it because the topics are boring or simply not enofe time to type a response?

What Heather said and I am not going to add anything else so that someone won't get upset with me. Cause sometimes I get so upset with a thread that I don't want to respond cause I could get in trouble saying the wrong words.....so I will stop there for now....

Wow. You wasted even more time typing a response!

sometimes one just doesn't have anything to add. No problems, just nothing to say that hasn't been said or not really much to add, no earth shattering commentary. :)

Sometimes I don't respond, because if I tell someone what I really think of the nonsense they posted, or think of their limited ability to reason, or question their parentage as it should be, I'd get thrown off the board.

You did not waste my time! I think it is a reasonable question. For me, I work in a school and do not have too much time all at once, so I do a quick perusal to find out what's being discussed without adding to it. It takes more time to think about what you want to say, making sure it will not offend, and proofreading. But sometimes, as in the post by the nurse in the cancer ward being burned out wanting to go to registry, I did not post, as I have never worked for a registry.

Am I to believe that everybody out there is going to respond to my thread ? Surely not !
Do you read every book in the library? :chuckle
Do you read everything in the library? I didn't say you "had" to respond. I just wanted to know some of the reasons why people don't respond okay so I wish people would quit blowing s**t out of proportion!!!!!

Haven't you also read threads that you have not responded to?
Same reason. =0)

Other times I'm just stopping in for a quick "allnurses fix" and don't have time to reply. Also, if I've already responded to a thread and I'm reading what was said after my reply - I may not add anything and that registers as a "view". does that help?
