Jury summons what to do have a exam

I have no time to waste and I receive a Jury summons week before i have my Nclex-Rn what should I do I have been canceling all my plans from last two week suppose to go to baby shower, and a birthday party I have been voiding all this so i can study that time and now jury summons what should i do

sometimes when you are summoned for jury duty you can request a change of date. there should be a place on the form to mark that says you are unavailable on that day (or call the court # on the form) and a place for the reason and they will put your name back in the bank to be resummoned within a year.

last time my mom sent a letter in that she cant serve on that week for a diff reason. they later sent her another jury #

just tell them that you have been scheduled to take the nclex exam after which you will become a rn. that the exam has been scheduled since _____ and delaying it will adversely affect your ability to get a job in your field.

Either that or just skip it... They'll send you a new summons in a couple of weeks...

Reschedule one or the other. Or you can do what a lot of people do, ignore the summons. But that is supposed to be risky nowadays. Supposedly they are going after scofflaws who don't respond to jury duty.
