For Nova Scotians, i've heard that if you weren't successful, the mailman delivers directly to your home and if you passed you'll get it in your mailbox, lots of people told me. Is that true?

Are you trying to make your own urban myth? Trying to increase your own anxiety? I read your posts where you called the CRNNS yourself and they gave you the answers you wanted to hear! OMG..take a benzo and have a beer stat!

Actually I've read that before too....I believe it was back in one of the old CRNE threads on here. Something about the fail notices coming as a registered letter that you have to sign for. There's a lot of strange info that accompanies this exam and it's results, doesn't mean people are making things up or trying to hurt themselves, it just looked like a question for clarification.

The only time I received registered mail/ package from CARNA was with my approval/ terms and conditions of 2nd temporary practice permit. Both past test results were just delivered to my mail box. Both times different color envelopes too. People say here in Alberta pass results come in big brown envelope, but I know people that passed and got big white ones. So don't be nervous about envelope color. I think if they come in different colors they might just run out of one color. Same goes with fails, I received both brown and white.

Kikilaroo.... Do you know if those people that your friend knows were passes or fails..? Oh and Ill share a tip with you for knowing earlier than waiting for mail, and its not myccp link being open. In Alberta, when you log into your my CARNA account, under registration tab where it says " you are eligible for" up until they enter your results it will say "RN exam accepted" . If you failed the RN exam link becomes open for you to click on it so a blue link that shows the exam application. However, if you were successful nothing changes and it continues to say "RN exam accepted with no link allowing you to click on exam. I figured this out the 2nd time I failed and knew 2 days before getting results in mail, because exam link was open for me to re-apply. Myccp link is always there and has nothing to do with if you passed or failed. But don't check if you don't want to know because i was really upset/ scared/ nervous for 2 days before getting paper copy of results!!

Crnerollercoaster - thanks for the tips! I logged on immediately and went under "apply for registration", and where it says to click the link below to register, all that's there is my GN permit but it's not a link. I don't see anything about RN exam accepted though.

And the person who got theirs yesterday was a pass and today's was a fail.

Kikilaroo....When you log on there are tabs at the top. There should be one that says "apply for registration" when you click on it there will be a page offering initial registration or beside it a heading saying "apply for temporary permit/ RN exam. At very bottom of that same page it will have a box that shows "you are eligible for " RN exam accepted...and for unsuccessful people the RN exam link becomes open. My friend and I both have same page there.

Crnerollercoaster - yup that's exactly where I went. But at the bottom there was nothing that said RN exam accepted under the "you are eligible" line, only that my GN permit application was being processed (which in itself is odd since it's been approved since may 3). I'm wondering if it's something I should be concerned about...

Ok hun, calm down, it seems like you're the one who needs it?! Haha *****, it was a clarification! Your reaction? amazing! Lol I'm very anxious about the result and i have every right to comment here! Oh and yeah you started the thread BTW?! So don't dare hate on the reaction of others coz' when you started this for sure you were looking for the same opinion as you had about the exam to calm yourself down! Don't over react to a post that you don't like because your anxious! Coz' we all are! And read kikilaroo's comment! Not just me knows about that "myth" you're talking about! Oh well i could see how close-minded you are! You just want to hear/read what you want to! Then don't start a thread!!! :-* :) goodluck!!!

Kikilaroo...No don't panic!!! If theres no exam link open for you to apply for next writing... I would say that looks positive. Especially if results are out in Alberta, the exam options with links would be open for unsuccessful writers to re-apply. Stay positive :) it sounds positive :)

Kikilaroo...where it says " you are eligible for" right beside it does it say RN exam application accepted? And nothing in the box below it? ( other than your temporary permit link ) see my practice permit has been approved since september 2013 so theres no link that shows my permit there, but at the top theres a tab that brings me to my permit.
