I don't want to start the posts too early, but I was just wondering if anyone knew how long it is actually supposed to take to get results this year. I know that some people I worked with last summer got theirs in early-mid July. I checked out the CNO website and the CNA website (and a few others along the way) one says 8-12 weeks and the other says 4-6. I'm already driving myself crazy...if I have to wait another 8+ weeks I'll end up really going off the deep end
=(, like earlier i said i failed too im from BC, plus im a june new grad; but i left about 16-20 question unanswered cuz i ran out of time. im very close to 121 =(
i applied Oct im waiting to be confirmed. My bf paid my Oct test and my dad paid a prep course for me =(, but that just make me feel even worse.....i have geriatric job interview this coming Sunday now i dont know what to say, should i say i failed CRNE already or should i say im taking in Oct since i have provisional registration?
my dad blamed me for the way i prepared my CRNE in June. I live in another city for school, then i freaking worked full time from March-April. Starting May I freaking studying 16 hours a day for 3 weeks. I never said anything to him. He didnt know i was saving money for March-June rent, he said if he knew my situation he would force me moving back home and he would force me to go to a prep course from March-June and he wouldnt allow me to work.
Because now I picked up a seaseem seed and lost a watermelon =(
other problem is, im not registering a prep course until im confirmed to take CRNE in Oct because that course is non-refundable. But the course has started since June 7th and now its already mid July. But i just got my result this Monday. Once one failure, XXXX comes in sequences=(
extra money spending, extra studying, screwing my job interview, attacking my confidence---i already know, it will be sooooooooooooooo hard for me to stand up again. I only have 30% confidence to work as a nurse now.
all who passed crne.pz give advice so we can
make it next time.
thanks in advance
a lot of those psychosocial questions were focused on nurse-client relationship and how to interact with patients within a theapeutic milleu..........Some common nursing tips; don't give advise since this is tantamount to belittling the patien's ability to problem solve, don't be judmental, use therapeutic communication techniques such as restating, reflecting, etc., respect cultural diversity, acknowledge feelings and avoid giving false reassurance......to name a few........... Wait, I think I am not yet in the position to give tips...I still am unsure if I passed.....lol
SO SORRY TO HEAR ABOUT YOU.....could you please let us know that how many marks are need to pass in ontario or toronto............Is there anyone else who got their result in toronto....cuz i call them today and they said they did not send it yet, but u got u r result today....plzzzzzz respond quickly....
Yes Guri, I got my result today. It was sent yesterday (June 15, 2010) according to the date written on the envelop but just got the mail this morning. I don't know why CNO didn't update the site nor told people that it hasn't mailed out yet. I failed by 3 points. The passing score was 121 ( I think pretty much the same in all provinces not just Ontario). Some of my friends didn't get their result either so probably yours is on the way (depending on Canada post). Hope that helps.
