sorry I'm confused! this thread wasn't the one would be closed soon but we should open another one to make things separate. If you're willing to participate though.

This thread will remain open until about the end of July to allow everyone who wrote to post their results. No worries there, but I agree you should start a separate thread for study topics.

No sweat, as my father would say!

No I'm graduating from UBC and writing it in BC.

You know, I thought of making a new thread on topics on exam. Something like important stuff we come across while we review for exam. Could be on labor and maternity, paeds., med/surg and etc. What you think? I bet there are other people out there who would like to participate too but since this thread is going to be close soon, we need to open a new one.

I think everyone would definately benefit from the idea, I don't know how to start a new thread but I would like to participate. So for example, if we have the topic "maternity" people can ask specific questions or so on is this what you have in mind? thanks.

That is one way to approach it. The other way is just by putting important stuff on topics. Take the maternity topic for instance we can talk about normal labor and delivery, complication of delivery, physiological changes in labor etc etc. I think anything that makes us to go back and read and share would help. I try to make a new thread.

Thanks, I think thats a great idea as we start reading we can contribute by posting the important stuff on each of the topics, at the same time questions can also be answered. let me know about the new thread, thanks.

The new thread is up. I named it " study topic for CRNE exam prep."

Now back to your previously scheduled discussion...

I bought the new prep guide and the bluepring as well, I think its better because this is a new exam so the more information you have the better.

Hi,

I would like to understand what is the blueprint , once you mentioned that you have bought it.

I have the CRNE this June and I wanted to know whether I have to buy it?

Thank you

Hi, the blue print basically outlines the exam, it talks about competencies, it has a glossory thats about it. The only reason I bought it was because I know its a new exam different from other examinations. Its upto you to buy or not but it doesn't have any questions outlined, hope it helps.

Wow, my class had been told that we'd be the first year to have short answer questions...I'm really happy to hear it's MC only!
