July 2009 NCLEX Support Group

I didn't see a July 09 support group thread up, so I thought I'd get it started.

I'm taking the NCLEX-RN July 3rd for the first (and hopefully only) time. I figured I'd get it done before the holiday weekend so I could at least enjoy some of the time off instead of spending the holiday chained to textbooks...as I've done for the last two years.

How do you reschedule your exam date? Is there any fees for it?

I will be there bright and early July 1. I have 8am test time. I am sooo nervous.

I just took the NCLEX-RN and very worried, I had 14 SATA'S and 2med q's and 2put in order, 76 questions, took me 2/12 hours I took the \Kaplan review course and read the Exam Cram book. Most of the questions were preventative care. Hope I passed!!!!!! I studied so hard, 1 month, 200+ questions a day since my graduation 5/09. I had so many med questions that I had no idea about.......will find out on thursday am..good luck to all you June test-takers!!!!

Hello everyone today i'm taking the nclex rn.....it has been a long tough road I failed the first time at 75 questions....I had to pick myself up and start studying again....This time i used the saunders 4th i did read the chapter and then did the quizzes,i did the exam cram rn and i used the la charity proritization and delegation and practiced questions 100-250...I had to stick to my schedule for six months....add with the prayers I hope god will grant that I pass this exam...Good luck to everyone taking the exam.... =)

I just took mine yesterday.... UGH.. I was shut off at 75.. I took the Hurst review class and felt it helped, and we also had to take the ATI's in school and had to get a certain level to continue on in school.. I feel these helped as well... Now I am just going crazy waiting for my results, our school ust sent in our transcripts last week, and I am in SoCal, so it may be a little while for the BRN-CA to register all of the info.... :bowingpur I am just praying I passed!!!

Im taking mine July 7th @ 8 am in SoCal. nervous but excited. just been doing Kaplan book & ?'s, now that i have read the entire book i am starting to feel better about it,. good luck all

I am hoping to take my RN NCLEX by the end of July. I graduated in May and I am still waiting for my ATT. Several of my classmates have already taken the exam. Alot of them had several medication questions (meds that they had never seen before), why should the nurse question the doctors order, infection control, crutch walking, SATA. One classmate told me she had alot of ventilator questions. I hope this helps us all. I am doing the ATI online review, Saunders, and Exam Cram.
