I figured I would start a thread for those students who are applying or did apply for the Johns Hopkins Masters Entry into Nursing program for spring 2016.
I suspense is killing me... I agree, I wish they would pull the band-aid already.
I called admissions this morning and was told only a handful of acceptance letters had been sent out last Friday. She said they are planning to send letters throughout the month... So we could hear this week, or apparently we could hear at the end of the month. She also indicated that some applications are still being reviewed, whatever that means. I hope we receive something on Friday!
So I am waaaay late to the party here, but I was accepted to JHU as well for masters entry nursing!!! I have been anxiously awaiting the acceptance packet in the mail. Quick question for anyone who knows (because I can't seem to find it anywhere on the website), when they say SPring 2016, does that mean actual Spring months, or the start of their spring quarter? I'm not sure if I'm ready to start school on January 29, especially because the only school I would take over this one is UCSF, and thats the weekend of interviews. I don't know if I should just bite the bullet and enroll for JH, or try to defer in case I get accepted to UCSF!! Congrats to everyone!! (I'm from Santa Cruz, in case anyone is near me to chat!)
Congrats, emmafleur! Based off the academic calendar here (Academic Calendar | Johns Hopkins University School of Nursing), I would plan on starting classes on Jan 19 at the latest (and I'd imagine orientation might actually happen before that, though I can't be sure of it).
Good luck with UCSF as well!
Hey everyone! I received my acceptance email yesterday! May have celebrated a little too hard last night.... Can you add me to the Facebook page? My name is Dena Overmiller I'm from Pennsylvania but I actually work at Johns Hopkins now as a Respiratory Therapist. Very excited for this opportunity !!

I've been checking my inbox like a mad woman! Has anyone been accepted this week? It's so hard to sit back and wait for these letters. Congratulations to everyone who has received their acceptance letters! It's quite a remarkable school.
