Hello Everyone,
Just wanted to start a thread for those who applied to the DNP program at Hopkins. I recently applied prior to the early Nov 1 deadline. I noticed from last years thread that some applicants mentioned they had interviews already (at this time). Has anyone applied and been interviewed yet? Best of luck to everyone.

Hopkins is a great place for all those attending this fall. Best of luck to everyone! #headingbacktocali #fatehasitsways
P.S at least I got a free subscription to people magazine.
You are a practicing PMHNP, right? There is plenty of time for a DNP.
For financial aid for all schools (and since I haven't read anyone mentioning it yet) in 2024-
Schools would normally have your financial aid information months ago (or whenever you filled out the FAFSA), which is why some can send you a financial aid package with your acceptance letter so you can make an informed decision. The FAFSA has a new system this year, and it's throwing the financial aid systems at colleges and universities for a loop an no schools I have talked to even have your info yet. Since they are receiving your information late, financial aid packages did not go out with acceptance letters.
It's my understanding the schools will have your info this week (last week of March). Some schools (like JHU) are making it a priority to get financial aid packages out before the deadline to accept. For some schools that accept scholarship applications ahead of acceptance to the school, the package may also include any scholarships you qualify for. Understandable due to the high cost and that some students must have that info before they accept.
Some schools haven't adjusted their acceptance deadlines, but financial aid packages won't go out until May. Scholarship award decisions might be made a month before the program starts.
Some schools (*ahem* YALE *ahem*), simply do not give a f**k ad won't even send out acceptances until a month before program start. You'll get your financial aid package WHEN YOU GET IT (so stop asking ;)). Fine if that is your only school choice, not so much if you have other choices.
I hope that helps!

For JHU? See my post above 🙂

Hello! I also received an offer into the FNP program and it looks like financial aid info will be sent out in the next 24-48 hours by the financial aid team. I'm hoping it's a nice package because I know Hopkins charges quite a decent amount per credit.
