Johns Hopkins Nurse Residency 2021

Hi guys! I know it's pretty early to start applying, but I'm looking for other people that are planning on applying to Johns Hopkins for their Nurse residency in 2021! I started this thread so we can follow each other throughout the process.

Me! Do you when is the ideal time when we should start applying?

I just applied for the PICU and pediatric/infant and toddler unit today. IDK when the actual residency starts tho

I got in touch with a recruiter a couple of weeks ago and she said that for those that graduate in May, to start applying in February. So I guess about 4 months before graduation! What units were you thinking of applying to?

Hi! I'm graduating in December and applied for the ICU bridge program nursing residency 1 month ago. My application is still "under review," but considering Hopkins is only just now offering start dates of November 30th, I'm assuming they haven't gotten around to completing December grad applications. Is anyone else still anxiously waiting for potential next steps?

Hi yes I am! do you know when they start hiring for the december grads?

So it's weird. My ICU bridge program application is still "Under Review" at 2 MONTHS after I submitted it. However, I applied for the PCU residency and received an interview within a week. So they're definitely looking at December grads right now. I think I'm going to call the Hopkins HR and ask what's up, 2 months seems very abnormal for an application to not even be looked at.

I applied to Onc and have an interview coming up and one of my other applications was forwarded to the  department.

I applied generally to the pediatric residency program, and I have an interview this Friday with two units!
