Hi,

I have applied for and received an invite to interview at JHH on a pediatric unit. I figured since there are previous threads for past years I'd start a new one for 2020 hires/start dates! Lets all keep each other informed and updated through the process.

How long did it take everyone to schedule interviews? I submitted my dates and times on 2/28 and haven’t heard back yet

I got a response literally the next day. I guess it depends. Try emailing w additional dates

I suggest calling them. They are receiving lots of applications. I know I had to call when I had questions of all types.

I emailed them on 3/10 with additional dates. Still nothing..

Yea my next step was to call. I just wasn’t sure how long I should wait to call bc I know everyone is in the midst of May grad application chaos right now

Hi all! New nurse graduating in May of this year! I know I’m a little late on the job hunt but I was thinking of applying to the nurse residency program at JHH! Just wanted to know as I have some vacations planned over the Summer, can anyone give me any examples of start dates they received? Looking for august or beyond as I get back from my last vacation august 7.

These are the dates the recruiter sent to me for orientation. Your unit manager determines your start date based on the information you give her or what you tell her during your interview or atleast that is what happened in my interviews and all offer letters I got.

I guess your orientation is August 3rd? And you start fully the 4th? Correct me if I am wrong, but it’s done for all in the same place? Then go on to your individual units?
