Johns Hopkins Entry into Nursing (MSN) Fall 2021

Published

Hi Everyone,

I wanted to start a thread for the Johns Hopkins Entry into Nursing MSN program for August 2021 applicants. I started my application this week, aiming to get it in well before the November 1st deadline . Anyone else??

The waiting sure makes me feel like I'm not in the first round pick for the draft, so to speak. Like if I were an obvious admit, wouldn't they have already decided and notified me by now? And if they already made all/most of the decisions, why do they send the emails out in a certain order (and no, I don't believe the real reason is to prevent spam LOL)?

Or... maybe this is like a twisted reverse psychology "game" where the longer applicants wait, the more willing they are to accept a favorable offer? So they gave the best for last. ?

I know. I am getting sad. I just want to know so bad its killing me!

Is anyone else taking prerequisites from Hopkins? If so, does this mean anything?

?

If you have a JHU account as a prerequisite student, login to myJHU (https://my.jh.edu/myJH), scroll down to "education," then select "SIS" - Student Information System.

I don't unfortunately so I cant check, but Im thinking this is good news for you?! ? right? Very cryptic but leaning in a positive and hopeful direction

Hi, I logged in and I have the same view on my screen. I’m right there with you, checking email every 5 min. There are two profiles; 1 for undergrad and 1 for MSN. Oh and yes, I’ve taken pre-reqs in the past.  I’m unable to find any other information as to whether or not they’ve accepted me.  If anyone knows how to access this info......please post!  Thanks ?

Did you try looking around the MSN option after clicking on it? If it shows an email or deposit that’s due, I’d take that as a good sign. But this seems to be a positive sign also in itself.

Heyy, I wasn't able to send you a PM, so I'll just post my respond here:

My username consists of my first name initial, followed by first two letters of my last name, followed by three numbers. @jhu.edu

I'm not sure if this answers your question... but hope it helps! Sorry to add on to your anxiety with my post ?

Hey! I also have these two options. I tried to proceed with MSN, but don't see any changes in billing nor personal info summary.

I hope appearance of MSN option means something!!

Hey everyone, thanks for all the positive confirmations!! Really really appreciated. ? What bothers me is I can't figure out if the multiple accounts have always been there...

I hope it means something (good) too! I mean, if we were rejected, why would there be a MSN account, right? Right?... LOL
