Johns Hopkins Direct Entry MSN Fall 2024

Making a post for anyone who has applied to Johns Hopkins demsn for fall 2024 as I haven't seen a forum for it yet! It looks like in some years past people have heard back in the first week of January? How are we feeling??

How are you making your decision? I am also concerned about upcoming shifts in DNP required for NP  beginning 2025. I think that will really shake up things in these programs over next few years. That may help inform where I go and whether the NP exam will be grandfather'd for the Masters. Are you going to any admitted student days to help decide?

 

I live in GA already so Emory is much closer to my family which I wanted. I also didn't do the mn-MSN program only the MN because I want to get a DNP in psychiatric nursing afterwards

Hi! I applied via Nursingcas in January and didn't hear from JHU that they received my application. I emailed them, but I also wanted to know if we get access to create an account or how it works. Also, does anyone know when the decision will be released?

I also submitted my application in January and just received a confirmation email this morning from JHUSON that they received my application. From reading previous forums, I assume we'll hear back around April since we applied for the January deadline!

I never got the email. I emailed them, and they said that decisions would be made by March. 

 

How did it look like?

 

I got in to another University but I really want to go to JHU

Hey y'all!

Would anyone be interested in starting a facebook group for admitted students for the Fall 2024 cohort? Might be nice to get to know each other, maybe discuss housing options, thought processes in making a decision with schools, etc.

For sure! I also went to JH in person today for them to show me around and the admissions person said that on the in person accepted student day when we get a chance to meet each other there will be agents from nearby apartment complexes and sometimes people find themselves clicking with future classmates there and might start looking at housing options then!

Hi! I was just wondering if there was anyone that submitted their application by the January 15th deadline? And if so did you hear anything back?

I submitted by the Jan 15th deadline and haven't heard back yet. Someone said above that they said decisions would be made by March.
