  1. I don't think so. I'd join a FB group if one was made!
  2. I would definitely say if your only gonna do 1 do the accepted students day- there will be a tour included in that!! I went on a personal tour about a month ago and the admissions girl said that on accepted students day people get to mingle, talk with housing agents, even maybe decide on roommates etc so you should definitely go! ?
  3. adult-gerontology acute care! does anyone know how to access their official acceptance letter pdf? I haven't seen one yet
  4. Not 100% sure on anything yet. I already paid my Johns Hopkins deposit and am probbbb still set on it but this program is also really good so I'll need to think a bit
  5. Good lord...who is waiting that long?? I was hopeful for MGH but will likely be accepting elsewhere ....
  6. I think I choked the hardest on the question that asked me what aspect of diversity I bring to their program. Of course, we are all diverse but I'm not exactly the prime picture of diversity haha and I hadn't really prepared an answer for that exact aspect of diversity. I would put some thought into what makes you unique whether it's your culture, background, experiences, etc and how to coherently articulate that!
  7. Hi! I just completed mine. There are 10 mandatory questions (what diversity you bring to the table, tell us about a time you made a mistake, what characteristics do you think a nurse what makes you choose nursing, etc that sort of thing.) it was conducted by a PNP student I think. And then you can just talk or ask questions after the 10 questions! Low stress. Mine only took 15 mins haha. Don't worry about it. I prepared almost none and was fine.
  8. For sure! I also went to JH in person today for them to show me around and the admissions person said that on the in person accepted student day when we get a chance to meet each other there will be agents from nearby apartment complexes and sometimes people find themselves clicking with future classmates there and might start looking at housing options then!
  9. They called me a few weeks ago and while I was on the phone w them I asked when we would hear back and she said they'd come out rolling starting early Feb
  10. I'm waiting to hear back from one more program but will most likely be commiting to hopkins. Does anyone want to make a group chat for people who are accepting?
  11. I declined my offer a few days ago as I am from the mainland and accepted my offer from Johns Hopkins. Hope one of you gets in ?
  12. out of curiosity, who that has been accepted is a "traditional" (straight out of undergrad) student?
