what province are you looking at? At the moment a lot of provinces are struggling with their own grads finding work meaning it will be even harder if you are from outside the province. Wages well there is a sticky with a link showing the current wages for each province

Specializes in Acute Care, Rehab, Palliative.

Do you have your license already?

Specializes in med-surg, OR.

A lot of nurses here are having difficulty finding steady work across the country (as the above poster mentioned.) Most nursing positions that are unionized, have the same pay across the province, no matter which area you work in. I suggest you do your own research, and check the current job postings online at the hospitals in your area, or at places you would like to work. Also check online using job searching sites, like "Workopolis" or "Monster." You will get a better idea of the job market in your region, the pay, and the qualifications needed to get those positions.
