I wonder if someone could help me in my job search here in Los Angeles, particularly, NOHO. I've been searching for job as an RN. I wouldn't care if its a hospital,, convalescent or LTC. Any help would be highly appreciated:)

I have just graduated as well, but I live one county down from you. I just found out on feb, 4th that I had passed nclex so I am super excited. I have heard it said that the Orange county is over saturated with nurses, especially new grad nurses. I will most likely have to move out of the area or drive up to LA or Irvine areas to work.
I would rather not have to have the added stress of moving as well as a new job, so I am hoping I can find a job near by. I am working very hard to get ready to start my job search. I just hope that the ONET forcasts are true, and that jobs are really a "bright outlook" for new grads this year.
Congratulations for passing the NCLEX! Welcome to the world of seems like never ending job search! LOL. No, I'm kidding:) we'll make it, we'll find job.
Usually hospitals would to like to hire those with experience. That what makes it difficult for newly licensed like us.

I think there is a new grad program at one of the Anaheim hospitals. You might try doing a google search, seems like I saw ads for it on something I was looking at recently

tried looking for a job.. i'm from LA ... this is soooooo hard cause most of the hospitals are looking for nurses who already had a year or two of experience.. how can we get the experience if nobody could hire us???
I could be wrong but Anaheim Regional is full for this session and will offer another new grad "wave" of hires in July. Check with HR to get timelines for application.
