I have just applied for a few positions at Mount Sinai in NYC. The employment application portal reads that at any given time you should not have more than 3 employment applications with them. So, they are in essence telling you not to apply to more than 3 jobs at a time.
I was wondering if this 3 limit 'rule'/recommendation can be ignored? What I wonder is if applying for more than 3 jobs will adversely affect my candidacy? Does anybody know? Is the limitation just so HR gives others a 'fair chance' or will more than 3 applications just not be processed because of a technical limitation?
Please DO share your thoughts and experience!

Hi! Can you tell me did you apply more than 3 times and what happened? Thank you. I submitted my application for 3 positions, but I see more positions available... What should I do?

What happens after u submit more than 3 apps online ? Nothing but they def don't call u for interview..as per my and classmates experience back 2 yrs ago before we got hosp jobs. I think it looks bad to them if they check your profile and they see u app to more than 3 jobs in one day. I would say wait a month or two and apply again. Seems they want people interested in an area or two as opposed to desperately applying to everything. Most new grads apply to everything while experienced nurses apply only to areas of their expertise so I guess that's how they weed nurses witht no experience out.
