JJC Spring 2017

Published

Hi all! I'm applying right now for the Spring 2017 class at Joliet Junior College and wanted to see what everyone is scoring on the TEAS?!

Hi! I also just applied. I'm definitely a long shot though. I don't have all the pre-reqs done and I scored a 67 overall on the TEAS. I don't have high expectations for getting in, and will be re applying in February if I don't get in! I'd love to hear from more people who applied for the Spring 2017 start date!

My overall was. 78.7%. I have 4/6 prerequisites completed with a 4.0 gpa. Good luck to all!

Great job on your TEAS score! This is my second time taking it (first time I got a 60). I'm hoping that if I have to take it again (if I don't get accepted this time around) that I'll get an even higher score. I really thought I did good on this past one and was crushed when I got a 67. Any tips on how to do well? I studied my butt off for it too!

Thanks! I studied a lot. Bought the ATI study manuel and the two online practice tests from ATI. I felt like the actual test was easier than the practice tests.(still not easy, though) I called and asked a ton of questions and the lady that answered told me that the average composite score of the class that starts this fall was 75%.

I applied for the 2017 spring term! I'm really hoping I get in, I have all my pre reqs done with a 3.6 GPA and I did okay on the Teas V 73! I'm also a PCT (CNA/PHELB/EKG) hopefully that will be good enough :D does anyone know how many people applied?

GOOD LUCK TO EVERYONE!

I met with the nursing advisor and she said the average composite score was 70%. I don't know what to think!

I know I really wish I knew how many people are applying! It's on my mind 24/7! Lol. I am also a PCT :) If yhe average is 70 I think we all have a great chance!!!

Yes! I really hope thats the case, but I'm sure you'll get in with that awesome teas score :) I heard after the application period closes we are allowed to ask how many people applied!

I asked that too! Im keeping my fingers crossed. I really wish scored an 80 to be guaranteed a spot.

Having the average score be around 70 for the TEAS that makes me a bit more hopeful with my low score. I have a 3.8 GPA but not all the pre-reqs done. I'm in Soc 290 right now, taking micro starting next month, and bio 251 in the fall!

Good luck! Your gpa is awesome and you almost have all your pre-reqs done I'm sure you'll be fine :) as long as you got a 64 on your Teas V which is the nationwide average!
