  1. Congrats!! Which prereqs did you not have done yet when you applied?
  2. Anyone else as anxious as I am lol. I know Paul said at the essay session that the middle of August is when we will get emails, but I check my email like 10x a day haha! Good luck to everyone!
  3. I think I did very well. Hopefully they feel the same! Lol. I've taken a lot of advanced writing courses so I know I had the format correct, just hope they liked what I wrote about. I only got a 67 on my TEAS and I don't have bio 250&251 done yet so it's a long shot for me to get in. Hopefully my essay was enough! A nursing advisor told me if I write a good essay I could get in no problem. How do you feel you did on the essay?
  4. Hi! When you say "a lot of work", how would you describe the work load? How long in length are the papers usually? I would want to work full time while doing the RN to BSN/MSN program. Also, how long after starting the program do you get your BSN? I'm super interested in Capella after reading these posts!
  5. Hi! How lengthy do the papers have to be? I don't mind writing at all, I just can't stand writing like 10+ page papers! I'm seriously considering Capella because they have an agreement with the junior college I'm going to to get my associates in nursing.
  6. Hi! With taking 2 classes per 8 week session, were you able to complete the program in less than a year?
  7. Lol! Ok thanks!
  8. How is everyone preparing for the upcoming essay? Anyone hear from previous nursing applicants what it's on? I'm getting anxious!
  9. Hi! I applied for the Spring 2017 start date, and I'm scheduled to write my essay on July 19th. Any info you care to share about the essay? Is there multiple questions? I'm just trying to figure out how to prepare for it! Thanks! :)
  10. Any info you can share about the essay? I applied for the spring 2017 start date and I go in to write the essay in 2 weeks. I'm trying to ask a couple people for some info so I know how to prepare! :)
  11. Any info you can share about the essay? I just applied for the Spring 2017 start date, and I'm scheduled to write the essay in 2 weeks! Was there multiple questions? I'm just trying to figure out how to prepare for it. :)
  12. Hi! Was there multiple essay questions? Any info you can share about the essay portion? I'm signed up to write the essay July 19th (2016) and I'm wondering how I should prepare for it!
  13. No, it just means that you're a qualified candidate. Meaning you meet the residency requirements, you've completed the Compass Testing and Teas testing, & that you have a GPA of 2.0 or higher.
  14. I signed up for July 19th at 8am to do the essay! I still have Bio 250 & 251, and micro to take. I only got a 67 on my TEAS which I'm nervous about. But she said that me not having Bio 250&251 done yet would hurt my chances a lot more than my TEAS score. Hopefully my essay is enough to get me in! I have a lot of writing experience so hopefully it'll be enough! Good luck to everyone! August is too far away!
