JJC spring 2018 nursing program

I applied for the spring 2018 nursing program at Joliet junior college. Now the long wait for admission. Anyone else waiting?

Hey was anyone at the meeting last Wednesday and a little disturbed by the "full payment by Dec 6" conversation?

It was a bit uncomfortable, and I can only imagine how unnerving it was for people who won't be able to pay it. But I get it though, it had to be mentioned

But it didn't need to be mentioned the way they did it- there are people in that ‘cannot pay' pile because she made it sound like you had to pay then get reimbursed by financial aid-

I'm a cash student, used up all my financial aid long ago. I am doing the payment plan- she could had just stated the schools drop date is dec 6. If you are not in an agreement with financial aid, workforce, payment plan or some other form of payment, you will be dropped.

I just thought it was unnecessary to make it sound so all or nothing.

I get what you mean, she really did make it seem like you either have to pay all at once or you're out. It was awkward, and to even make separate piles of them at the end.. they could have gone about that a better way
