  1. I get what you mean, she really did make it seem like you either have to pay all at once or you're out. It was awkward, and to even make separate piles of them at the end.. they could have gone about that a better way
  2. It was a bit uncomfortable, and I can only imagine how unnerving it was for people who won't be able to pay it. But I get it though, it had to be mentioned
  3. Perfect! Welcome! I can't wait to meet more of our colleagues this Wednesday!
  4. Honestly if you haven't gotten an acceptance email I would try to get your GPA up and retake the teas test and try applying again the next round.
  5. The qualified letter was basically just stating that you met their requirements. Then they went in farther to check out GPA, TEAS score, prereqs complete, etc. Then they sent out acceptance letters in the beginning of August to your JJC email, and you had to reply to them to accept the offer. After that, we received emails regarding what immunizations to get and papers to sign. If you haven't received anything you could try calling their front desk to see if there was a mistake on their end. But the qualifying email did not gaurantee you were in
  6. A couple weeks after the qualified candidate letter came the official acceptance letters. Those were sent out on August 3rd
  7. Thanks for the reminder! This just reminded me to set up a couple alarms on my phone and mark it on my calendars. The only thing that would be an issue for me is my Nutrition professor. We have a class at night that same night and she's very strict about attendance. But I'm sure this would be an appropriate exception! :) I'm so exciteddd!
  8. Same here! I just got started on my immunizations today, because I felt like that's the most difficult part- getting all of the proof and testings, and the actual shots too. I haven't done the drug test yet. I haven't done anything, but two weeks ago I was at a friends house and she smoked weed in the same room as me, so now I'm extremely paranoid if it shows in my system! Also I have to renew my CPR card, so I'm looking at locations around me to schedule a class.
  9. Hey ladies, just checking in! Have you guys gotten started with the compliance requirements?
  10. I can't wait to meet everyone! Now I am just anxious to get the next email! For the day program, does anyone know the exact time it starts and ends?
  11. I GOT INTO THE DAY PROGRAM!! This is so awesome!!!!
  12. Yes, I read on a previous forum for people waiting to hear back from JJC that the qualifying email is pretty generic. However, I did call last Monday to see if what the progress was on the reviewing process. She didn't give me too much information, just that they were starting to go over the applications and referred me back to the email to see when they would be sent out!
  13. I also received guaranteed admission, but I'm still so anxious to get the email! I think once I see it in words, it'll feel more real. I'm going crazy with this wait, hopefully we get emails sometime this week or next!
  14. Trying so hard to be patient for these emails!
