JJC spring 2018 nursing program

Published

I applied for the spring 2018 nursing program at Joliet junior college. Now the long wait for admission. Anyone else waiting?

Hello, when you got the qualified candidate letter did you get in the program?

A couple weeks after the qualified candidate letter came the official acceptance letters. Those were sent out on August 3rd

Did you get in the program after you got the qualified letter? How accurate is the qualified letter to get in?

Does the qualified letter mean you're most likely in?

No. The qualified letter simply means that you have fulfilled the application requirements and are being considered for admission into the Nursing Program. It does not indicate in any way that acceptance is guaranteed or any % of probability.

The qualified letter was basically just stating that you met their requirements. Then they went in farther to check out GPA, TEAS score, prereqs complete, etc. Then they sent out acceptance letters in the beginning of August to your JJC email, and you had to reply to them to accept the offer. After that, we received emails regarding what immunizations to get and papers to sign. If you haven't received anything you could try calling their front desk to see if there was a mistake on their end. But the qualifying email did not gaurantee you were in

I got a 72.7 on ati, I have all my prerequisites except 215 109. What do you think are the odd of me getting in?

Honestly if you haven't gotten an acceptance email I would try to get your GPA up and retake the teas test and try applying again the next round.

Hi, I just found out on the 19th that I got accepted to the LPN to RN transition program!!!! I am sooooo excited and nervous! I pray that you all get in, there are some high TEAS scores mentioned. Do you all know how many seats are available? There are only 24 seats for the transition program! I wish you all the best... hopefully we'll be classmates

Perfect! Welcome! I can't wait to meet more of our colleagues this Wednesday!

REMINDER: MANDATORY nursing registration is tomorrow, 10/4 at JJC in building U; Room 1024.

Hey was anyone at the meeting last Wednesday and a little disturbed by the "full payment by Dec 6" conversation?
