Upon finding out I am unattached, several patients have expressed wishes that I land a husband for Christmas, but they fail to understand my alternative lifestyle. As someone with aspirations of grad school, I am in an open marriage with my textbooks, caffeine and the campus library. We are all very happy together, so please stop pestering Santa about it. Even if he brought me a shirtless Chatum Tanning on a white horse, I wouldn't know what to do with him (beyond teaching him to take vitals, because the q4h battle I have with a toddler who believes the pulse ox machine is her arch-nemesis is NOT FUN).
